Wow. Isn't that just lovely. You'd think they would know better.

♥RAW's♥WIFEY♥ --- 5 years ago -

like I said on the other post this was on, while it sucks and i hope they get what they deserve, we aren't even for sure they are MPs. just because your in an MP company or detachment, doesn't mean your an MP. They could be medics, supply or whatever else they have in the units. If they are MPs, shame on them and I hope they do time

~*Mrs. Butterfly*~ --- 5 years ago -

whether they r mps or medic or just plain ol good ol soldiers, they r baddddddddd boys. and i hope they get what comes to them for being stupid.

~Wiccan Army Wife~ --- 5 years ago -

IDIGCHICKS --- 5 years ago -

haha oh yeah does everyone agree with me now ? the mps suck didnt i just write a post about the mps sucking ? thanks Once again, that was not an MP you talked to this morning.

AntiIce --- 5 years ago -

well yeah i did talk to an mp yesterday morning and they weren't much help !.... i talked to a dispatch like 12 am last night

johnswife1206 --- 5 years ago -

OK, to everyone who cares, they WERE MPs. It was on the news tonight. And MPs DO suck.

♥RawsWifey♥ --- 5 years ago -

then don't call them when you need help.

Keeper At Home --- 5 years ago -

This is absolutely CRAZY!!!!! MPs are not actually police officers. I am not even sure if they have any jurisdiction outside of the base. I do know that their training is different. I'm not trying to insult MPs by the way. (Just in case there are any here that are married to one.) Just saying they are trained basically for base operations.

♥RawsWifey♥ --- 5 years ago -

MP stands for MILITARY POLICE. Their jurisdiction is on post. Just like civilian cops have jurisdiction off post and not on. That doesn't make them anyless of a civilian cop.

Keeper At Home --- 5 years ago -

Well, what I meant by that was I thought they needed to call in outside police officers (state) for certain things. I was told this at some time. I know that is how it is overseas....I'm really not sure about here. That's what I meant. Anyway, whether they are police officers or not, they are people who are supposed to keep peace and represent law and order. So this nonsense is just ridiculous... :)

Sexyma --- 5 years ago -

They are not good people if they are out here doing this sh@t. They need to stay in jail and don't come out. You are a police officer here to protect and serve not steal and rob people. Just Dumb

♥RawsWifey♥ --- 5 years ago -

Thank for changing your post about them not being real cops. because they are. They go through the same basic training as everyone else and then go through MP training. They carry guns, arrest people, write tickets. They have their own investigational, homicide, drug unit (mpi and CID) have thier own K9 unit. Plus on top of everything they still have to be a soldier. The two units that are here, switch out every other month. One month one unit is on the road, the next they are training for deployment next year. They are very real. Civilian cops are of post and have NO say so about anything that goes on post. Just like MP have NO say so if it happens off post. As far as the bad ones, thank the government for setting the standards so low on who gets in the military. can't even blame the recruiters because they have a quota to be filled. There are just bad people all over the military. I'm just glad these two got caught because they won't be on the raod anymore much less the army period. They screwed themselves out of a good oppurtunity and will spend time in jail.

Keeper At Home --- 5 years ago -

Thank you for explaining it to me. And yes, I changed the wording on my post. I never really want to offend people. I was just ignorant on the matter really. Hopefully your hubby can be the right example they need now. :) Have a good night!

G --- 5 years ago -

It is just like everywhere else. You have your good soldiers and your crappy soldiers. There is no different standard for a soldier to become a MP. I have seen corrupt soldiers, corrupt MP's and even corrupt police officers. Don't judge them all for certain ones crimes. It is no different that lumping all ARMY WIVES as the same. I hope that these guys get the max ..You do the crime, do the time....

Cristal --- 5 years ago -

what the hell?? craziness.......

Bama Crimson Tide --- 5 years ago -

i just want to say one stinking thing i have been an mp for six years now and i have seen some pretty crazy stuff, i have had some pretty close calls. We are police officers, nothing changes from off post and on post. We have the same risk civ cops do, if anything it is worst on post because some of the people we deal with are trained in certain skills that most civ. arent. Lets put it this way we have alot on our hands, we work the road then take a couple months to train up then head right back over seas. I have to give it up to the mps wives along with all other military spouses cause i can tell you now, working 19 hour road shifts 7 days in a row then having one day off is hard, you miss so much in your kids lives.

~*Funky Munky*~ --- 5 years ago -

well ive never had to deal with an MP in that way, I had two MP friends so if I ever needed advice on how to handle something i could call one of them We are police officers, nothing changes from off post and on post. We have the same risk civ cops do, if anything it is worst on post because some of the people we deal with are trained in certain skills that most civ. arent. always been my perspective for sure!

~~its me~~ --- 5 years ago -

uneverknow --- 5 years ago -

well i was gonna post something but then i saw this happened like 6 months ago LOL i was about to also, glad you pointed out how old it was.

Just Candy --- 5 years ago -

I'll still post I would trust MP's as far as I Can throw them. It took them a month to get the freeloader out of my house and Housing had to make them. They we're rude to me and treated me like the bad guy, then even after seeing the receipts they let my husbands crazy brother walk out of our house with over 6,000 dollars in computer equipment.

Just Candy --- 5 years ago -

sorry that shouldn't have been wouldn't
