so is anyone else having or has had problems with this meat company before?

well.only one other ad that i seen. im so pissed off at this company. this is the second weekend i have stayed home becuase the OWNER said he was coming and both times he never showed. and when i call he says i will be there by a certain time...guess what he doesnt show!....im so pissed. i have baught over $600 dollars worth of meat..... ...so yesterday i called because my husband wants his fish crap he order from them..since he did say he was getting a shipment in on thursday. and guess what they dont have it. there excuse was...."we are sold out" uuuhhh, hello we have already paid. anyways, we are having alot of trouble out of this "business"...i just wanted to know if anyone else has?

im sorry..if im a little iffy.....im just so.....MAD...... at this company...even if they couldnt show couldnt they atleast call...you are running a business..... 

but i do have to say the meat that we have already got...has been really fresh and really good....but the people there suck. 

Man, that sucks. I just moved here, so I have no experience with this company, but I have heard mixed reviews about it. I don't think I will be trying them out though...they seem kinda shady, and shady businesses is one thing I despise. 

If I had spent that much money and was getting the run around Id be upset too.. Maybe talk with the guys when he finally gets your order to you and seek a discount for his tardiness.. Explain to him exactly why you are upset with the way he runs his business.. Maybe he lost track and doesnt realize he is so late on your order or his paperwork got messed up.. If he doesnt provide you your order within a certain amount of time I would get a refund on what you have yet to receive.. 

but there meat is really good. we have tried just about everything they have. and its always been fresh and very good. my husband loves their meat....i like it to....but i dont like the service...the only day they came when they said was the day they came to sell us the meat in fact they showed up 15 min early. that was the only time they came when they said they would. i wish i could find another company that we can get our meat from that is fresh and really good but with only good service. 

i called him again this morning. He actually yelled at me! "ma'am we ususally dont get phones calls with people upset like this." well everyone else probably didnt spend as much as we did. i told him its been 2 weeks. and dont you know as soon as i said i want to cancel my order....and hung up on him....the meat was out here in less than 10 min. but he didnt show up he sent some woman. she looked very pissy and just handed it to my husband and walked away. 

if i spent over $600 on meats and never got it..and have had numerous calls to them with no results...thats when i would get in contact with the BBB...thats y i dont buy from people in a truck selling meat..

i did blow up the phone and he made me feel bad. he said his son has cancer and thats why he hasnt braught it out...well..i thought to myself he has people that work for him its a business why cant they deliever it. i told him i was sorry that his son has cancer and i understand....but like i said he is running a business why cant other people deliver? 

or atleast call and tell them he isnt coming instead of making them stay home all weekend and wait. 

this same stuff happened to me and a year later still no meat and mine was seafood too I kept getting the run around after a couple months I said screw it and I spent a butt load of money. They should be reported to someone 

why must you slam a persons business for not getting your meat on time..ron and misty are very professional and nice as heck.we have been customers for more than 2 years and never no problems with theyr food or service.i do know that they are away at a funeral and you feel the need to bash them.you should be ashamed of yourself. 

and let me guess his excuse was my "ice box" on the meat truck broke so i have to get it fixed.... or did he tell you another excuse? 

they arent away at a funeral unless they left this morning. they were at my house! 

and if u didnt get your food on time for whatever reason im sure theres a better way to deal with it then to ruin his reputation.oh well i heard thru a birdie that you got your stuff so drop it already.ron and misty..you know who your true customers are and we will always continue to buy from you and refer you to our friends.happy thanksgiving...

im not ashamed of myself..i dont know what kind of crap you are feed by them but its not passing and getting through me. i speak of experience. it just happened to me. 

no they didnt. because they didnt bring it to me. it was colby! and i spoke to ron he isnt! man, so many frakin, lies! 

oh he told me that he had to go to Nashville to get it and at least u get him on the phone I left message after message and nothing the meat was great but never again. My neighbor was going to buy from them and I talked them out of it. 

and yes before anyone posts a comment that this is stupid to be fighting about.I AGREE.. but i just wanted to point out that its sad when someone tries to ruin someone reputation for his business when things can come up.thats all i have to say about this.. 

I ain't ashamed of myself either. if u wanted to keep a good business u wouldnt screw people over 

i wasnt ruining his rep. they did that! like i said the meat was really good and really fresh. but the service is terriable. and apparently im not the only one complaing. because the BBB sayd they have had several reports in the last bit!

i wont ever buy shyt from someone selling meat from a van. that just srceams food posioning. unless its shcwans, but i do like the normal folk and buy my meat at a store. sorry to say it but, you shoulda seen this rip off comin 

ok funeral or no funeral (this is a little harsh i know) but if you are going to run a business and take people's money then you need to insure that they get their product in a timely manner...maybe if they would have done what needed to be done on their end she wouldnt be on her complaining about the service.
