So 2/3 weeks ago we where number 48 on the list, then all of the sudden 49, a weekend later 48 again and now 50...wtf ? Im fukcing tired of tis bullshyt ever sense the army is not in charge of housing anymore they have done nothing but go backwards instead of forward, so thanks to THAT plus the FACT that there is most definetly some butt kissing needed to get anywhere with the community offices and housing we WILL be moving off post once we come back from NY , i loved housing in germany , both darmstadt and grafenwoerh and it was pretty good in GA, HERE ? yeah hell no screw that were done with them and funny thing is i have 6 friends who are moving to ft.campbell in the next 6 months !!! guess who is going to tell them to stay the hell away from Campbell housing ? yeah.

Have you emailed who I told you to about it? The reason youre jumping around is because people from Old Lee, people who have just obtained rank and people who are moving onto post for the first time get priority over you 

Yes i emailed who u told me to Tink and all what happen was a big old NOTHING, i understand the priorities BUT we are 4 people in a 2 bedroom house that is colder than a deads persons feet. The only thing that came out after me emailing who u told me too was the community manager calling me being all snotty and saying : You dont have to contact Mrs.youknowwho I am the one who says if u move or not and I have to run an inspection before you move...so yeah thats pretty much the only thing thats come out of all that. 

If going through housing isnt working.. Maybe have your husband go to his chain of command and explain to them that yall have no heat, with lil ones, and see if they can make a courtesy call... I really dont know if will help any.. However last yr I had a similar issue with a spouse while the guys were deployed.. I went and spoke with the Rear-D BN Commander explained the situation and within a few days the family was moved to the top of the list.. But again there is no gaurantee that them calling will make a difference or even that his superiors with give a flyin hoot.. But if one of their soldiers is residing in an enviroment without a properly working heater in such weather conditions they may be compelled to offer a voice on your behalf.. Why cant I be sleeping like normal people.. UGH. 

See the thing is everyone on here knows how i vented about the community manager and i know 100% sure she got winds of it, so yeah we both my husband and I KNOW she doesnt like us so at this point we think she just really has it with us. I dont think i am the only one having the cold problem i think its bc of the way the houses where build, but if u sit next to my living room windows you WILL half freeze to death, seriously yall are more than welcome to stop by sometime and feel it for yourself, i did ask mantainance and they told me i HAD to leave all my doors open in order for the heat to get to the backrooms, it kinda sucks but oh well, we just seriously dont have room , my son grows by the minute ( few threads down is one of his latest pics) and him and my daughter in one room just isnt working , i got toys in my living room, toys in my bedroom, we have the small shed where yes i dont like to put stuff bc there are black widows and brown recruses so yeah i dont like to use it, so ALL of our closets are full of stuff and the house in general is just exploding with stuff, its frustrating, we got excited thinking we might be able to move soon and spec by the way the list was going we thought probably around xmas...now of course, if instead of down were going up we'll never move in time, hubby is just REALLY pissed and lets it out on my and makes ME email and call housing so I am the one who looks REALLy like the bad guy, he kept on complaining about the neighbors dogs and when the housing lady talks to him he goes : oh no, they dont bark EVERY day...wtf ? he was Punching the damn walls ! ugh im just frustrated and venting sorry 

When we moved here last December, we were #171, so obviously we live off post. Our lease is up next month and I am far from happy with my landlord, so we put our names back on the list in October. We are presently number 4, but we have been bumped twice. I find it annoying that we have waited almost a year and STILL get bumped. At the same time, it is kind of nice to wait, because we now will qualify for the new housing by gate 10! I LOVE those places ;) I feel your pain mabel. Housing is a PIA!!! 

u qualify for woodlands ? if u dont mind me asking ( u dont have to answer) ow many kids do u have and what rank is ur hubby ? bc we dont and but ive heard about people with the same rank and same amount of kids qualifying for it 

BUT we are 4 people in a 2 bedroom house that is colder than a deads persons feet. hey don't you have two kids?Are they a boy and a girl?And are at least one over the age of 3?There are laws you can pull up as a boy and a girl over the age of 3 CAN NOT share a room.Well at least that is the way they do it in TX.I would just try pulling that card and tell them a boy and girl should not be sleeping in the same room now you better get me a bigger house today.Just try it.It work for my brother and his wife they got a new house in like 3 days and they even gave them a 4 bed room but now they have 3 kids so it was needed lol.I hate housing I have no interest in living on post. 

I have a 4 year old Girl Who goes to Pre-K and an 15 month old boy who is as wild as it comes lol, i heard about that law i just didnt know if it applies for housing too, i think were going to start looking for off post :-( 

Well BAH is high enough to find a place and still have money left over it is cheap.Everyone else tells me they get 200 to 300 dollar electricity bills that is one thing that scares me lol.But our house is maybe 117 a mo for elect.Water is about 30 to 50.So it is good living off post.If I hear of any houses for rent I will let you know I have a friend who has lots of rental property. 

that would be cool, see i dont get the whole electric thing tho, when we live in GA we only had about 100$ and not even im saying it was about 70$ a month ? i dont get how it is sooo much higher here

In TX we paid 400 a mo for electricity lol I don't ever want to pay that again.we keep our heat and air at 70 degrees yr around.My mom puts her air on 90 and her heat on 70 and still gets 300 dollars bills.

Housing lol I just want to get away from all the utility bills, and the long drive for hubs to get to work, especially in the middle of the night, or early am when one of the guys is in trouble or acting like an azz. Our electric was around 200 mo last winter, between the heat and the dryer. I love the summer when we can hang the clothes out, not only for the savings, but that "line dried smell and feel" :)

I think its because they are trying so hard to accomodate everyone and at the same time move Old Lee residents. She told hubs that because he was promotable that it was easier to move us in there than to move us elsewhere and then have him request to move again 2 mos later. Works for me. I dont like the layout of a lot of the places. I havent heard a lot of good about Pierce, but from the look of the layout it is the only other one I would be interested in other than Woodlands.

See they offered us pierce, lee park,zahn park gardner and i cant remember for the hell of nothing the other one i think it was ka pointe maybe ? i really dont know, so i emailed mrs. Cash and asked her nicely if she could tell us which housing we qualify for bc i thought we also qualified for werner but they didnt give us that optiong, well right after that i got that reaaaallly nice call fomr our community manager saying i didnt need to go thru mrs cash about moving i had to go thru HER bc SHE decided if i could move or not and SHE would do the inspection. 

let her do your inspection mabes, im here to help. i dont mind. 

off post is much better in my opinion anyways.. i lived on and off.. rent a house or buy a house.. get you a fenced in yard.. much more privacy.. no drama..

What village do you live in now? Cause by the sounds of the toys and storage it sounds like mine.....Hammond LOL
