Allo all, we just moved here from JBLM and I am already under the impression there is absolutely nothing to do here. That is a hard pill to swallow coming from Washington where there is more going on than you could ever hope to see. In any case, I played for the roller derby team on JBLM and am hoping to hook up with some derby girls here. Any suggestions for activities? 

There is almost an endless list of stuff to do around these parts. Most are just too unimaginative or too lazy to get out and find things to do. Sky diving, scuba diving, caving, hunting, shooting,rappeling, wine tasting, music, clubs, horseback riding, 4 wheeling, photography, and on and on.

Nashville has roller chicks and its only an hour down the road.

kentucky down under, pattis, nashville shores, the aqaurium, the science museum, there is always something to do. you just got to look for it. best of all stay positive. im starting to love it here. my latest hobby is goodwilling stuff, making it pretty and gifting it. the lake is awesome, the garden of the gods is pretty..

alot of people go to gatlinburg i personally pefer indiana resorts like lake patoka. 

there is plenty to do, just gotta drive to it! :) if anything else fails, stop in any hotel or welcome center and there are brochure galore!!! that will tell you all the popular things to do out here
