i never asked anyone to pitty me. being knocked around every so often beats what houston is full of.
that is the real ghetto.,and everywhere i went there was some filthy meth head tweaking and i realllly hate that crap more than anything. not to mention the guns the illegals the drive bys that dont make the news and everyone oding on meth and oxycotins. 

I am also from an area where the people outside are crack heads, meth addicts, and prostitutes. Do I want to ever go back there to live? No. Would I ever allow a man abuse me? No. Would I go back there to live if I was being abused, especially in front of my children? You beat your butt I would. I would never allow a man to abuse me especially in front of my children, it will only screw them up in the future. Sometimes starting over means starting from the bottom but it is only temporary until you work your way up and out of the area. I am not judging you because I don't know your personal situation, yet I do know that most woman who have returned either end up dead or if they survive it their children become involved in the same abusive relationships as their parent. 

I don't regret where I was raised, it only made me stronger and to face the addicts and prostitutes every day as a child, made me promise myself to never gamble with drugs. 

i think the whole scenario has scared him straight. hes been being decent and i think its deeper like ptsd.i refuse to just throw someone away like garbage and walk out on someone like him 

i also was promised by my big huge country boy ex that if he even looked at me wrong that hed be at my door whailing a lead pipe and a meat cleaver at him.my ex is a big ol 6foot 5 redneck and will hurrt him..he now knows my ex would too. i too could sit here all day and judge something i know absolutly nothing about... i have chose to forgive and move foward.
