That all really depends on the leasing company. Its similar to subleasing

Must have been the leasing company because the SSRA Act just states PCS and Deployment. Here, housing makes it VERY clear not to break a lease to move onto post

These people are new. Our buildings just got sold from A+ Property Management to Johnson Housing at the start of October. They won't let me outta it for nothing. The only other thing I can think of is to get evicted, but that will come back to haunt us. They would only let us out if he PCS'd to another station in the states, they wouldn't even let us out if he was deploying. 

you can have someone take over your lease, but only if the rental company will let you.. you will not get your security deposit back in most cases...

I risk having to pay from whenever I leave until March's rent, and loosing my deposit. I'm like, just wanting them to let me have someone move in, put their name on our lease, and if they choose to leave in March, let them get my deposit back, I don't give a crap if they get it, as long as these biotch Management companys don't get it!

Some companies make you pay rent all the way up until your lease end date and some make you pay 2 months rent and they keep your deposit. There are tons of different ways they get wrote up

No, but I'm about to say frock 'em, and I'm about to make multiple complaints to the people on post that can blacklist them! The service guy came the other day while I was gone and started my dishwasher after he was done ATTEMPTING to fix it AGAIN! and didn't put any soap in it, so now I've got lovely hard water gross stains on my brand new plates! Then they wouldn't answer the phone yesterday. 

Let me rephrase that last bit, they are open from 1-5pm Monday through Friday, I was on my way to the doctor's office because my baby is sick, I saw the lady sitting at the desk writing crap, I called the number not 1 minute after I lost sight of her, and called every 5 minutes there after for 30 min! Then after the doc's appointment, called every 5 mintues from 4 until they closed! 

and I'm about to make multiple complaints to the people on post that can blacklist them! One person isn't going to get a place blacklisted 

But the other military people in these buildings will be willing to help me. We have little pow wow's about how much we hate these idiots.
