I think it's strange how it says the father wanted to show them how his wife made the kids live when the cops got there. If the father was so worried why wouldn't he had done something about it? I wonder if the father is just as guilty and placing blame on her to try to save his own butt? 

Darlene, I think that's exactly what he was trying to do. If he really gave a damn about those kids, they wouldn't have been living like that. He was just trying to save his own a$$ once the authorities showed up.

That is so sad. I guess I will never understand why people don't want to spend time with their children. I loving hanging out with my kids they grow more and more everyday and that makes me smile.
