Dear Mr. President: I heard you say you will not guarantee SS checks if the debt ceiling isn't raised. Why is it the scare always has to do with SS, Medicare, & our Soldiers' pay? Why not stop your pay, or all of Congress, or the Senate, to save more money for our country? Why use Seniors, Soldiers, & our Needy as examples? Take the money from those who take no risks and reap the benefits? 

Instead of threatening to withhold Social Security payments of people who really need the money....Lets hold the paychecks of all house & senate members, then see how fast it is resolved!!!!!

I'm a firm believer in helping your own first, instead of sending money to help ppl overseas deal with like chingabling said natural disasters help us the floods we have had thru out the US, help our own with getting medicaid etc not the ILLEGALS getting it, there are sooooooo many ppl right now in the USA that really need the help some live strictly on their SS checks what are they going to do. Also its not a real good idea to quit paying the military who give their all everyday of the year holidays included, separated from loved ones to go over to Iraq and Afghanistan. We will soon see what he does if anything.
