Sorry but if it were my husbands team that took him down and they listed what team it was, I WOULD BE P!SSED as hell. Why? because its on a need to know basis, and the public doesnt need to know. Those guys already have a bounty on their heads when they go to another country as it is. Not cool to list them off like that and where they are located.

I agree. Its been all in the media since last night. I have to give RCM's team credit, though I was secretly hoping it was 5th Group all along. 

Still, not to be mean or anything its still not opsec, its not up to the spouses but those who did the job, im sure theyd liked to be recognized as those who finally got him. And as long as they make it public its not a breach of OPSEC , im the first to jump on stuff like that but this time its completly public 

If its been released on the News and through the Pentagon.. I dont believe a mod has any place to remove information that has already been made public..

Dont get me wrong.. I was a flustered at the release as well but our own beliefs shouldnt be the deciding factor when modding.... Especially since the bad guys have already been told by our own peeps who did what.


Now, while it is a morale boost hearing that Oba... Osama Bin Laden had been killed.......... My excitement didnt last long as reality hit relatively quickly... My heart aches with the anticipation of what forms of retaliation the extremists will bring against our troops in the next days, or weeks or months.. 

I don't really care who did it, as long as someone in an American Uniform shoved an American Flag in his face just before sending him for his meeting with Allah. I would much rather him be taken alive and burned at the stake at ground zero. Pay-per-view event with all proceeds going to paying down the national debt.

What about Pakastan!!! I mean seriously.. 1000 yards from their equivalent of our West Point???? 

I wouldnt be surprised if Pakistan was well aware of who was residing in the area...

However, think about it.. Our West Point.. Do you really think that the majority of those guys are completely aware of everyone in the immediate area?

Even then a country such as Pakistan whos training area isnt anything remotely close to that of West Point..

Pakistan was aware of the situation... But expecting military recruits to know everything thats going on in the area isnt expected..

Hell even in America there are homes that you would never think to be owned and settled in by the Drug Cartel..

Great point. :) however.. The building of the compounds that close to it and who the funded the construction should have raised a question or two. It isn't like million dollarplace are normally built. The news reported it 8x larger then any other home in area. Two brothers that didn't have money living there... Yeah.. There had to be some kind of official help covering this up pr turned a blind eye... I am glued to the tv watching all this unfold.

IF it has been made public....IT DOESNT BREACH OPSEC. 90% of the information tht ppl on here would have would be things tht you can find online, which means tht anyone could find online, I really hope the last comment wasnt towards me since there is web sites that have this information posted so get off my back
